We are thrilled to announce an exciting update! Recently, we engaged in a dynamic and productive meeting with representatives from fellow EU-funded projects, InterSTORE and PARMENIDES Project. This exchange was a crucial part of our broader Cluster Projects Initiative, a strategy to foster an environment of cooperation and mutual growth within our industry. Our overarching goal in this endeavour is to create a collaborative platform that facilitates the sharing of findings and best practices in the vital field of interoperability.
The event was marked by a series of insightful presentations from each project, providing valuable perspectives on their respective endeavours and shedding light on the many exciting advancements in our field. In addition, the meeting also included engaging breakout sessions focused on four key topics.
Firstly, we explored the confluence of data space and energy, a rapidly emerging frontier poised to significantly alter our industry’s future.
The second topic of discussion was the introduction of the innovative PARMENIDES Energy Community Ontology (PECO). This groundbreaking development will transform how we understand and navigate the energy landscape.
Our third point of the conversation revolved around unlocking the potential of flexibility services. Central to this was introducing the revolutionary Virtual Energy Storage System (VESS) concept and creating an interoperable communication layer. This joint action can potentially optimise how we manage and distribute energy resources drastically.
Lastly, our meeting spotlighted the importance of effective dissemination strategies. As our projects continue to develop and innovate, we must communicate our findings and progress clearly and effectively within our industry and to the broader public.
The dialogue and exchange of ideas between the various project representatives proved incredibly productive. We were able to align how we will collaborate in the future, allowing us to deepen our collective knowledge and enhance the synergies among our cluster projects.
