Five national Living Labs were delivered across the FlexCHESS pilot sites in Spain, Wales, Slovenia, Italy and Türkiye, in each site’s national language, bringing together energy communities, distribution system operators, public authorities, researchers and SMEs to co-assess Virtual Energy Storage Systems and connected hybrid storage.

The network continues beyond the project period. C.I.P. Citizens in Power, as WP5 leader, maintains the Living Lab methodology, the stakeholder database and the newsletter channel, and welcomes new participants at any time. The complete engagement toolkit — agenda, invitation and promotional templates, registration and evaluation instruments — is published under a CC BY 4.0 licence for reuse by energy communities, municipalities and project consortia wishing to run their own sessions.
